LF were contracted to carry out replacement works to the existing service yard at the Lidl Warehouse; this entailed extension of goods out service yard area, inclusive of drainage, services alterations and erection of new security fencing throughout. Also involved was the breakout and removal of existing concrete service yards to both goods in and goods out and service road, which had previously failed due to under design. Upgraded reinforced concrete slabs were installed as per design requirements, completed around a live 24 hour working distribution centre for Lidl. Pre-planned and frequently monitored logistics and traffic management plans were key to successfully completing this project on time and within budget.
